• Lights Not Turning On

    Ensure the system is plugged in and your controller device is connected to the same WiFi network as the control system. If the issue persists after multiple attempts, you will likely need a WiFi Extender for you network.

  • Intermittent Controls

    The control system is recieving poor signal from your network. We recommend adding a WiFi extender to resolve this issue.

  • Lights Not Turning Off

    Ensure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your control system. Make sure no network changes have been made on your local WiFi.

  • Lights Not Responding

    Power cycle the control box by unplugging the control box, waiting for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. Also ensure your app device is connected to the same network as your control box.

  • App Not Responding

    Ensure your device's operating system is up to date. Check for any new updates to the Promethean Lighting App. If app was reinstalled, ensure you allowed permissions to communicate on the local network.

  • Timer Not Working

    Ensure the time is entered properly in 24 hour time format with a colon (Ex. 23:30) in the Promethean Dusk App. For more information, see our app tutorial page. 

  • No Signal from Control System

    The control system is already connected to your network and will not output its own signal. Please check your network configuration and router settings.

  • Misc/Unresolved Issues

    Nearly all problems can be resolved by simply unplugging the control system, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.
